Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI)

Curbside Residential and Bale Audits

The CIF and Stewardship Ontario released a Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The REOI was for Ontario municipalities to take part in a series of curbside waste audits and/or a MRF commodity bale audit and potentially, a composite paper packaging analysis. The deadline for submissions was Friday, March 16 and this REOI is now closed.

CIF was created to help Ontario municipalities undertake best practices initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of blue box recyclingprograms.
Program funding is derived by setting aside a percentage of the fees that companies contribute to municipalities as their share of the cost of operating Ontario's blue box programs.
