In December 2008, Waste Diversion Ontario, at the request of Stewardship Ontario, forwarded correspondence to the Minister requesting an extension for submission of a consolidated MHSW Phase 1, 2 and 3 Program Plan to July 31, 2009. While this represents a delay of some four months from March 2, 2009 for the Phase 1 and 2 components, the Phase 3 program will be delivered one month in advance of its original submission deadline of August 31, 2009.
