Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO) received a request from Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) to consider an extension to the December 31, 2008 submission deadline specified by the Minister in his Program Request Letter for a Used Tires Program Plan.  After consideration of the request, the WDO Board agreed to request an extension for the Used Tires Program to February 27, 2009.  The Minister has approved this extension by correspondence dated November 14, 2008.  To view the Minister's letter approving a February 27, 2009 submission date for the Used Tires Program Plan click here.
