The Consolidated Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste (MHSW) Program Plan is due to the Minister on July 31, 2009.  Stewardship Ontario, the Industry Funding Organization for MHSW, has been developing the Consolidated Program Plan in consultation with stewards and stakeholders.  Stewardship Ontario has submitted a Draft Preliminary Consolidated MHSW Program Plan to Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO) for review at a meeting of the Board of Directors scheduled for June 24, 2009.  Stakeholders can submit comments on the Consolidated Program Plan in writing for consideration by the WDO Board until noon on Tuesday June 23 by email to wdo@wdo.ca, by fax at 416 226 1368 or by courier or post to 45 Sheppard Avenue East, Suite 920, North York Ontario M2N 5W9.
